This year, the Countryside Productivity Small Grant (CPSG) scheme will cover Digital Weather Stations

What is the CPSG Scheme?

The Rural Development Programme for England provides money for projects to improve agriculture, the environment and rural life.

The Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme is available to help achieve improvements in either:

  • Technical efficiency
  • Animal health and welfare
  • Resource efficiency
  • Nutrient management

Davis Weather Stations including Enviromonitor are covered by the CPSG scheme.

The criteria states that it will cover – a system/station that has the minimum functionality to record barometric pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, UV levels, soil moisture and soil temperature.

Most systems are expected to require additional sensors to meet this specification. The system must be able to link wirelessly to a computer. The cost includes the station, mounting facilities and up to 5 additional sensors. The grant excludes installation costs, service costs, annual licence fee for software and calibration.

Applications are now open until 4th November 2020.

Having assisted and supported customers last year with their applications, we are delighted to offer our detailed knowledge and support to help those looking to obtain grant funding in Round 3.

This year, the specification is much broader and gives more scope to specify the system which will meet your needs best. Contact us to discuss your options in greater detail and obtain a bespoke quote. Call 03336 664175 or email sales@weatherstations.co.uk
