IntroductionThis support area of the site serves two functions. Its main purpose is to provide assistance and troubleshooting advice - mainly in the form of detailed FAQs - to anyone experiencing an apparent problem with a Davis weather station or related software. But it is also a convenient place to include technical data on the Davis stations that doesn't have a home elsewhere on this site, such as the history of Vantage Pro console firmware upgrades. General troubleshooting and technical informationInformation and troubleshooting FAQsThe FAQ's available here focus primarily on the newer Vantage Pro range of stations and borrow extensively (with permission) from Davis's own VP FAQ, though adapted and extended in two ways: first to provide more information on Overseas (eg EU/UK) VP stations; and second with various additional topics and comments, for which there may sometimes be links to other areas of this website with a more detailed discussion of a particular topic. If you follow these links you may need to use your browser's back button to return to this general troubleshooting area. There is also a small section on the original Davis stations such as the WMII.
