Demo page of clickable station locations with live data

Note This demonstration is best illustrated on a wide 'landscape' web page so that the map and associated live weather data can be shown side-by-side. To do this, we've had to change the standard layout used on other pages on this site with the result that this particular page looks a little different. To view this page at its best you'll need a full-screen display 1280px wide (many modern screens are at least as wide as this), otherwise a horizontal scroll bar will appear. This is purely a consequence of the demonstration data that we have readily available - a custom-designed website would easily work around this constraint and display comfortably on a less wide screen.

Live weather data from five WeatherlinkIP-equipped sites in Cambridgeshire (UK)

Click each map marker to see live weather data from that site in the data panel alongside the map. Each site is equipped with a Vantage Pro 2 weather station fitted with a 6555 WeatherlinkIP data logger and can therefore produce a data feed in a common format. This illustration is one example of how markers on a map can provide a link to live weather data measured at the site represented by the map marker. This example is obviously specific to these particular weather stations in Cambridgeshire, but the principle may be readily extended to other geographical areas and to different types of weather data feeds. Please contact us if you're interested in commissioning a comparable map for your own weather data or have any problems in viewing this example (or indeed if you have any other comments).
